I bet you’re expecting this email to be about Uranus in Gemini — but surprise! Someone else wants the stage this week.

Sagittarius has been popping up everywhere for me lately.

I recently pulled the business chart for this publication and found it has a Sagittarius stellium. My new coach has a Sagittarius Sun. I just traveled (Sagittarius) to Chicago to spend the weekend with my sister, who is Sagittarius rising. And when there’s a pattern — I've learned to pay attention.

Logically, Uranus in Gemini should be the focus of today’s post. You’ve probably read about it in a dozen different places already. So I’ve really had to sit with why Sagittarius wants the stage.

Every sign compensates for the one that came before it. So to understand Sagittarius, it helps to understand Scorpio. Scorpio is the transformational, often painful process of death and rebirth. Sagittarius is the optimist that helps us find meaning and wisdom through that pain.

As my teacher has put it, if Scorpio is a dark tunnel, Sagittarius is the light at the end of it.

It looks back at everything we’ve been through and asks what was all that for? What did it mean? What good came from it? What did it teach us?

Sagittarius is the higher mind that synthesize meaning from facts. It takes everything that has been accumulated and turns it into a perspective, a principle, or a world view. It is the part of us that is capable of wisdom that only comes from having lived experience as a sentient being.

And that is the message Sagittarius so desperately wants me to share.
